Our DJ's represent the finest talent that Michiana has to offer.  All of our entertainers are over 25, non-smokers, and always come dressed appropriately for your event whether it be black-tie formal or backyard barbeque casual.  Each has years of professional experience in creating successful events.

DJ STICKY BOOTS

Versatility, creativity, and flexibility behind the decks are key words in describing the talents of DJ Sticky Boots.  Since the age of 13, Sticky has been perfecting his programming skills over a wide variety of musical styles, venues and events.  With such a varied background, he is gifted with a unique ability to blend new flavors and familiar sounds, creating a vibe that’s addictive to audiences.  Whether the event calls for mainstream house,  the freshest hip-hop, or even classic 80’s and 90’s, this is one DJ who has the bases covered. In fact, Sticky Boots has rocked parties from coast to coast and is currently internationally syndicated on FM, Internet and Cellular networks from Canada to the Carribean.

JEFF aka "DJ ICEBERG"

Jeff is one of the most versatile entertainers on The Music Place staff.  Coming to us from the Niles Michigan area, Jeff has been with The Music Place since 1992.  

In addition to a refined set of performance skills, Jeff possesses a unique and wide knowledge of music and mix programming that’s guaranteed to please even the toughest groups of people. He is a fan of all types of music and is also a master of organization and timing, well equipped to keep every event flowing smoothly and with pizzazz!

Already an integral part of our wedding entertainment specialists, Jeff is now developing his hot-mxing talents and frequently rocks the turntables as one of our “mixers” for school dances in the spring and fall.  Jeff feels that musical creativity is key, consequently whether the event calls for oldies tunes, Disco, 80’s and 90's, the latest in Hip Hop and Dance music, or a little bit of everything, he will get people on the dance floor and keep them there all night.  

Jeff's attention to detail and out-going attitude make him a client favorite time after time.You can feel confident that Jeff will help make YOUR event that much more exceptional!

DAN

Dan, a Michiana radio legend, founded The Music Place in 1978 at the height of the disco era after promoting a successful nightclub at a local ski resort.  The mobile DJ industry was in its infancy and people in the Midwest were just beginning to see the value in having a DJ entertain at their events versus a band or wedding singer.  Dan was one of the first in Michiana to offer such a unique service.

Dan's was a local radio personality for over 40 years in the Elkhart and Goshen markets and a TV newsman as well, in the South Bend and Ft. Wayne markets.  He is still actively involved in radio news, however has focused his efforts on The Music Place in the last ten years.  Dan is now retired from active entertaining, but is heavily involved in running day-to-day business activities, handling all DJ training to his exacting standards, and facilitating on-site logistics.
