Bridal Shows Galore! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us in several area bridal shows in January. National Press Acclaim Sticky Boots received more national recognition this summer when his spin-off performance in June in Niagara Falls, Canada earned him the cover of Mobile Beat Magazine for August 2005. Mobile Beat be is a highly regarded national trade magazine for mobile DJ's, and their cover shot is rarely given to only one DJ at a time. Congrats to Sticky on his cover-boy status! International DJ Expo in Atlantic City, NJ
The Music Place's own DJ Sticky Boots was honored to be chosen by DJ Times Magazine as an expert panelist for DJ Toad's School Dance panel as well as a club music programming panel at this year's International DJ Expo in August. Over 5,000 DJ's from all over the world attended 4 days of seminars, parties, and artist showcases during the Expo, and a highlight for Sticky was speaking and spinning along side DJ Toad (Miami of Ohio), Rob LaFrance (Connecticut), and Paul Dailey (Boston) as they instructed other DJ's on the art of the school dance and college party.
Elkhart County Fair Under-21 Tent Party
The Elkhart County Fair was the place to be this summer for the annual Tent Party under the big top. Over 3,000 area students came out to see and be seen while The Music Place and Sticky Boots set the roof on fire with the hottest music. U-93 was out in force for this year's event with Otis doing the "O-Show" live from the tent, and giveaways from Hot Sauce Records in Hollywood, U-93 and Sticky's own gear topped off a hot night.
