The Blue Heron at Blackthorn was again the setting for this Michigan school’s junior-senior prom, and DJ Iceberg was in the building to set the night to music for about 150 students. To complement the theme, we brought in uplighting in blue and purple shades to make the dark room look like twilight. This year the sponsors also added our Dancing Under The Stars effect to add hundreds of twinkling stars to the ceiling of the ballroom.
Students enjoyed refreshments and a royalty ceremony complete with a royalty dance to a traditional song by REO Speedwagon that’s always how this prom committee crowns it’s prom king and queen.
