When a couple chooses to have both their Mishawaka wedding ceremony and reception at the same venue, it’s important that their choice for DJ and emcee be one that’s experienced with all aspects of a wedding from proper timing to microphone placement, guest interaction, and of course dance creation. Jonelle and Todd knew they needed and entertainer they could trust and knew that St. Joe county wedding DJ Sticky Boots was clear choice in both experience and energy.
The wedding was held at the beautiful Knights of Columbus in downtown Mishawaka which was decorated in terracotta and pewter colors and set up in a way that all guests could easily see the dancefloor area which doubled at the ceremony site before the reception began. Erin and her staff always do a fantastic job with making sure everything looks perfect. Sticky Boots provided a crystal clear wireless microphone system for the wedding officiant and vows as well as expertly timed playback of the traditional ceremony music. After the 30 minute ceremony concluded, guests enjoyed a short cocktail period with light jazz followed by dinner and dancing.
This couple chose to be a bit less formal with their evening, so there was no grand entrance or toasting, but guests were treated to a fantastic buffet followed by cake and of course formal first and parent dances along with bouquet and garter tosses. There was also fun anniversary dance early in the evening to honor the many married couples in attendance.
Later in the evening, guests enjoyed the powerful sound system of the Platinum wedding package while dancing to a perfect club-style mix from Sticky Boots which included a generous helping of 90’s hip-hop and 80’s hair bands. Everyone had an amazing time and the Bride later emailed Sticky saying, “Just wanted to thank you again for making our reception a fun one, lol. We just went to a wedding in Fort Wayne for a younger couple & it was not near as fun as ours, the DJ didn't even compare to you. :) “
