Nicole and Nick met Sticky Boots through his long-running trivia nights at Miles Lab in Elkhart, IN and knew he was the perfect choice for their summer wedding in downtown Nappanee, Indiana. Nicole had chosen the unique vintage industrial space on the second floor of the Coppes Commons complex which is a lovely venue for couples who choose not to make alcohol part of their celebration.
Coppes Commons features a very large event space with an abundance of windows allowing tons of natural light to flow in, even on a cloudy day (as your photographer…they’ll love it!). Coppes also has a large adjoining space that set up perfectly for wedding ceremonies, which is exactly how we used it for this celebration. Sticky Boots provided a secondary sound system in the ceremony space complete with a mic for the pastor and a second mic for friends of Nicole and Nick who sang and played guitar during the ceremony.
After the ceremony guests moved into the main room to enjoy appetizers, toasts, and later dancing into late into the evening. Some even snuck downstairs for a quick bite of Rocket Science Ice Cream while the couple finished their pictures. It was a beautiful day for everyone involved, and we were honored to be a part of it!
