When this smaller southwestern Michigan high school was looking for prom entertainment, they turned to DJ Iceberg and Michiana’s #1 prom DJs, The Music Place. The elegant ballroom at Blue Heron Event Center at Blackthorn Golf Course in South Bend was the setting for their “Under The Sea” theme, and we supplied 12 wireless uplighting fixtures in blues and purples to complete the under water look in the space.
It was a smaller group of 120 students, but that doesn’t mean they partied any less than a larger prom in a bigger venue. Iceberg rocked the party with fun music and even several requested classics like REO Speedwagon to keep the dancefloor hot all night. Iceberg also served as emcee for the royalty ceremony at 10:30pm with the announcement of Prom King & Queen. When the last song of the evening played, students departed in their fancy cars having just experienced one of the best night of their lives!
