Elkhart Indiana couple, Alexis and Chris, are not only huge Chicago Blackhawks fans, but big fans of Rock and live music, so you might ask, why would they have a DJ for their rustic wedding in a barn in Nappanee? Two words: Flexibility and Experience. Alexis and her dad Mark knew that this day was one of the biggest of her life and there are no do-overs, so an experienced DJ and more importantly, master of ceremonies, was needed to keep the day flowing, keep other vendors on-track, and set the overall tone for the celebration. Mark trusted DJ Sticky Boots and the Platinum package to make sure flawless execution was the order of the day.
To still incorporate a live-music feel into the event, Alexis had live musicians playing the music for her ceremony on-site in the Pavilion next to the main antique barn. We provided microphones for Andy, the officiant, as well as for Lesley, one of the bridesmaids also doing a reading during the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests made their way into the large barn for cocktails, appetizers, followed by speeches and a tasty buffet from Elegance In Thyme.
Guests had a blast on the dance floor with a selection of rock, country, and party classics, expertly woven into the mix by Sticky Boots. He even hosted the popular “Shoe Game” asking Alexis and Chris a series of fun, customized questions about each other to entertain guests and show how well they knew each other. What a fun summer wedding in a perfect country setting!

We had Blake (DJ Sticky Boots) for our wedding reception. I can't imagine having another DJ that could have done better. He listened to our music preferences and kept the party going flawlessly. He also help keep things going like the cake cutting, speeches, dinner, late night snack, etc. Blake is very good at what he does. It was very important to us that we have a variety of music that appealed to all age groups so that the older guests would want to dance too. The whole night went perfect and since our wedding everyone has been asking us who our DJ was because they've never been to wedding with a better DJ or music. Thanks for helping make our wedding day and night perfect Blake!!!
