For a small, rural school, it makes a lot of sense to locate your formal dance close to the school, and the barn at Lakeside Occasions in Topeka fit the bill for this northern Indiana prom. Our Standard prom package with DJ Iceberg as the Elkhart County prom DJ was an excellent choice, and the prom committee chose to add in our fully computer-controlled uplighting upgrade to their package which truly transformed the entire look of the rustic barn. The wood beams and barn siding were an ideal canvas to utilize our wireless LED light fixtures to paint changing colors on the walls and ceiling of the prom venue throughout the evening.
DJ Icberg acted as the Goshen area prom emcee as well, hosting the traditional royalty dance to spotlight the prom king and queen who were crowned earlier that night at the school’s grand march. Students danced the night away to a fun mix of new and old hits, capped off with Footloose of course in honor of this year’s prom theme.
