Finding a quality venue and hotel for your wedding on a Notre Dame football home game weekend in the South Bend-Mishawaka area can be quite a challenge. Newlyweds Steph and Bryan scored a touchdown for their September wedding though when they called the play to run with DJ Iceberg and our Gold Package at the brand-new St. Joseph Conference Center inside the Holiday Inn in Mishawaka.
Bryan’s sister, Jenna, worked with us for her own wedding at the Allure in Laporte back in 2015, and we were honored that his family would turn to us again for this special event. The St. Joe Conference Center is a full-service venue with tons of space to spread out, so event coordinator Brittnee Madigan had no problem accommodating the 150 guests. We set up a sound system in a smaller meeting room for the intimate ceremony, then guests walked down the hallway to the conference lobby area for cocktails, which utilized our Remote Speaker enhancement for music and announcements. Finally, guests entered the large ballroom for dinner and dancing.
The Ballroom looked fantastic too with a full room of uplighting in cobalt blue and DJ Iceberg as master of ceremonies to facilitate the Grand Entrance, toasts, cake cutting, and special dances, and then fill up the dance floor for the rest of the night. What a celebration!
