Rock Run Creek Barn is a beautiful venue in Goshen, Indiana, with historic big red barn charm and modern amenities like heat, indoor restrooms and a lower floor that becomes the perfect location for a wedding ceremony when the weather just isn't cooperating. Madison and Cody knew their November wedding would have an incredibly scenic vista of fall color, but they proactively chose to have an indoor ceremony to take a bit of the Indiana fall unpredictability out of the equation. The lower level of this historic barn is a special space in its own right with massive beams on the ceiling and stone walls which not only lead to amazing photos, but also protection from the weather. DJ Iceberg provided the soundtrack and a microphone for the short ceremony, and everything went perfectly!
Once the ceremony was done downstairs, guests moved upstairs to the main area for cocktails and merriment. During this time, the happy couple snapped some incredible photos with Nicole Hardy, including some fun football shots outside with the covered bridge over Rock Run Creek in the background.
Both natives of Goshen and Goshen High School grads, Madison and Cody were so fun to work with through the planning process, and they were open to suggestions like the Anniversary Dance and a wide-ranging playlist for DJ Iceberg to work with. Cody also LOVES to dance, and when we get a groom like that, we take full advantage! In fact Madison informed us during the planning process that Cody had recently split his pants dancing at a recent friend’s wedding, so we knew Cody doesn’t play when it comes to breaking it down on the dance floor.
After dinner, Cody’s enthusiasm didn’t disappoint, and once DJ Iceberg opened up the dance floor for all guests, the party didn't stop! Everyone was up on their feet, dancing the night away celebrating the happy newlywed couple!
