Indiana summer weddings in June are always a gamble when it comes to weather, but preparation and advance planning for all your vendor team is the key to successfully navigating an unpredictable Mother Nature.
The site for Nebula and Christopher’s wedding celebration was a gorgeous new home on a private pond in Warsaw, and they planned to have their ceremony along the water with the reception to follow on the expansive pool deck. To complement the event, Christopher contracted our Warsaw area DJ services to provide the ideal soundtrack to their evening, and during our initial consultation we advised him to be sure to have a contingency plan in place for both the ceremony and the reception should the weather turn nasty.
On the day of the event a large tent was in place at the front of the property, and with rain in the forecast, it turned out to be a great alternative to pondside ceremony. Their Kosciusko county entertainer, DJ Iceberg, handled the music and microphones for the ceremony, then with the weather clearing, expertly moved the party to the pool area for cocktails, dinner, and dancing, as Iceberg set the tempo for the rest of the evening with his wedding reception music selections.
The small group of 60 close friends and family had a blast dancing and socializing throughout the evening; and when the last song was played, many commented they didn’t want to the evening to end. That’s exactly the emotion we strive to create with every single event, and DJ Iceberg nailed another terrific performance. Congrats to Christopher and Nebula!
