The Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County is one of the groups we love supporting through the donation of our services. We were thrilled to be asked to participate in their biggest annual fundraiser known as the “100 Men Who Cook” event which was held at the Northern Indiana Event Center (RV Hall of Fame) in Elkhart in October.
This event brings 100 notable men from the community together to prepare their favorite dishes and serve them to 100’s of attendees who come out to enjoy great food, great people, and of course awesome entertainment. Old National Bank served as the anchor sponsor, and the individual men involved are a who’s who of local leaders in business, media, politics, community outreach and leisure and the dishes they serve are just as diverse as their backgrounds.
The Club tapped DJ Sticky Boots to play the majority of the event for the over 600 attendees through the cocktail and dinner time, with live music from a dueling piano duo providing the soundtrack for the later evening. In the end, nearly a quarter of a million dollars was raised during the event to benefit the Boys & Girls Club, and we were so honored to have been a part of it and the good that money will do in our community!
